Dressed in a comfortable pair of jeans and white shirt, Aamir Khan was in his element as he greeted the media on the occasion of Eid on Thursday. Talking about celebrating the festival, the actor said, "I always spend the day with my family on Eid. As a kid, I would wait for my Eidi, but now it's my turn to give Eidi. This year, Kiran and Azad are in Europe and, unfortunately, I will have to celebrate Eid without them."

Aamir also added that he makes it a point to give Azad only Rs 2 as Eidi so that he learns the value of money. Ask him if he liked his good friend Salman Khan's recently released film 'Sultan', and he quips, "I loved the film and got emotional while seeing it. I think the film will break PK's record." Aamir's nephew Imran Khan with wife Avantika were also spotted soaking in the spirit of the festival and posed for shutterbugs.

The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, had a fun-filled Eid and began his day with waving out to thousands of fans who had gathered outside Mannat. He was accompanied by his son AbRam, who as usual, had all eyes on him with his antics. He then headed to speak to the media and reminisced of Eid celebrations from the past.

He took my hand and took me to balcony," SRK said, referring to the crowd gathered outside. SRK also spoke about going to Salman's home for celebrations. "We are waiting for food from Salman's home as there are more delicacies prepared there," he said.

I celebrated Eid in my hometown Markotla. I met my friends after long and had a lot of fun. This is something I don't get to do in Mumbai. Throughout the day, there were visitors coming over. I had a blast; there's nothing like being at home on this special occasion. I wasn't dieting for a change, and binged on Eid delicacies like chhole puri and sevaiyan among other favourites.

For the last 30 days we had Iftari on set, the last one being a grand one. We called for pizza and burgers. Our whole unit waits for the last Iftari. I took an off from work yesterday and invited a lot of people home. Shoaib's [boyfriend] mom shared the menu and I cooked several dishes. Ammi [Shoaib's mom] also cooked certain delicacies, so it was a joint effort and very special.

I went to the mosque in the morning for prayers, came back and took my mom's blessings. We then held celebrations at Sanjeeda's place in the evening along with her entire family. Post which we had a fun-filled time with some friends.

I offered prayers, made sheer korma and left for a shoot, which went on till 3 am. My elder brother is expected from Dubai with my nephews today, so that would make an ideal Eid celebration for me.
