Ganpati festival is round the corner and arrangements of jumbo proportions are underway to welcome the deity home. One of the oldest Bollywood pujas is hosted by Neil Nitin Mukesh's family (over two decades old) and we hear, they will welcome a special guest this year — West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo.

The Caribbean star will be in India next month and participate in the homecoming of an eco-friendly Ganpati at Neil's SoBo residence on Ganesh Chaturthi (September 5). Says an insider, "Bravo is planning to offer a special Trinidadian souvenir to Lord Ganesha. The actor's family, on their part, has placed orders for Ganpati-shaped delicacies as return gift for the cricketer."
Bravo is keen to go ethnic on the occasion and will be styled by Mumbai-based designer Bhavesh Shah. "He will wear a navy blue sherwani with embroidered motifs, a turban and mojaris," adds the source.

A fancy five-course meal will be laid out. B-Town names like Ameesha Patel, Evelyn Sharma, Sophie Choudry, Shweta Pandit and Bejoy Nambiar also feature on the guest list.
Post puja, we wouldn't be surprised if there is an impromptu karaoke session with DJ Bravo, whose single 'Champions' went viral during the World T20 earlier this year — especially considering Neil's father, Nitin Mukesh's love for music.
Shehan Raj from Bravo's team says, "Yes, we will be in India next month and Dwayne is 50 per cent Indian by heart, so he's very excited to be ushering in Ganpati festivities."
Neil, on the other hand, chooses not to divulge details. He says, "Ganpati is an annual ritual in the Mukesh parivaar for the past 22 years now. Last year, we had underprivileged children coming over to take part in the festivities and this year too, it will be special. We wouldn't want to talk about the guests we are expecting."
