Farah Khan's latest film 'Happy New Year' (HNY) has raked in over Rs 350 crore worldwide with more than Rs 200 crore net in India itself, making it the biggest grosser of 2014 in India.
Interestingly, the script of Happy New Year has been selected by the Oscar Library with the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for its permanent Core Collection.

The evening also saw Farah, and award-winning Australian film filmmaker and jury director Paul Cox, present 'The Golden Royal Bengal Tiger trophy' and a cheque of Rs 51 lakh for the best film of the festival.
This was the first time that the festival started a competitive section where 15 films made by women directors were shortlisted and screened.

Dutch filmmaker, Tamar Van Den Dop, was adjudged best director for her film 'Supernova', at the 20th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), which came to an end on Monday.
The best film award was jointly won by Rakshan Banietemad of Iran, for 'Tales', and Najwa Najjar of Palestine, for 'Eyes of the Thief'.
The Jury Award (Special mention) went to Shira Gaffen of Israel for her film 'Self Made'.
On this occasion Farah said, "We women have to work twice as hard to be taken half as seriously as men. Luckily that's not difficult at all. I hope we outnumber men so much that next time I come here there'll be a category for films made only by men!"
