However, it seems his one-time friend and co-star Salman Khan wasn't too impressed by the act. Nevertheless, fans and even the media excitedly gathered around to watch the father-daughter duo enjoy the breezy ride.

Salman gave his comments about the incident to a few photographers at an event just a day later. Says an onlooker, "Salman is very friendly with the photographers and he usually chats up with them whenever he gets an opportunity.

So the minute he stepped out for a photo-op at a car launch, the photographers told him about how SRK informed everyone that he was going cycling." Apparently all Sallu did was smile and acknowledged that he had seen the pictures.

Adds the source, "A few photographers even asked Salman why he never invites anyone when he goes cycling. (Salman often cycles even to his shoots).

To this, Salman said, 'Isiliye mein Salman hoon aur woh Shah Rukh'."u00a0SRK has been on a publicity overdrive ever since promoting his last film RA.One and now for his upcoming film Don 2.

We are beginning to wonder if Salman was hinting towards that. Interestingly it was during a recent award function that SRK gave away an award for Bodyguard and admitted wishing Salman were around to collect it, as reported 'Wish Salman was here'.

But though King Khan seems to be in the mood to extend an olive branch, looks like Salman's sticking to his stance.u00a0

Car-ma connection
The automobile brand Salman was endorsing that evening at the event, had offered him a car costing around Rs 40 to 45 lakh, which he apparently refused. Then they bumped it up to a more expensive model, costing Rs 80 to 85 lakh that he finally accepted.
