What happened when Salman Khan arrived at a Diwali bash that had Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor in attendance?

Did Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor avoid Salman Khan at a Diwali bash?

While exiting Anil Kapoor's Diwali bash on Wednesday, Salman Khan kept doing a three-finger salute. He flashed it as soon as he stepped out of his car and also while seated inside it.

Most stars normally do a 'V' sign while some resort to the thumbs up. Sallu's gesture has sent gossip mills into a tizzy as they try to figure out what was going on in his mind.

The star made a fashionably late entry at Anil’s Juhu residence where the party was held. His ex, Katrina Kaif was present at the bash with her beau Ranbir Kapoor when Salman arrived. His entry created a buzz and all eyes were on him, but there were quiet whispers about Katrina-Ranbir crossing his path.

Says an onlooker, "Salman arrived at 1.30 am and everyone was waiting for a reaction from Ranbir-Kat. In about 15 minutes, they left the venue. Aditya Roy Kapur, who had arrived in the same car with RK and Kat, also left with them."

In the past, whenever Kat has been around, Sallu tends to make loaded statements, like his outburst at his sister Arpita’s wedding last year: "I gave you a chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be Katrina Kapoor."
Adds the onlooker, "To avoid any such incident, Ranbir-Kat preferred to make an exit. She also posed for the photographers outside."

Prying eyes outside were waiting to catch the three together, but could not. So was this Sallu’s way of signaling to them? Or, perhaps this is now his trademark style while exiting from events.
