Although top designers are making clothes for the many function for Amrita Arora's upcoming wedding, Rick Roy will be designing her sangeet dress.

A source reveals, "Top designers like Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Shantanu-Nikhil and Ashley Rebello are designing Amrita's outfits.
Rick has been included in this list." Amu has known Rick for six years and had met him through sister Malaika Arora Khan.
They got along really well. Rick designs for Malaika's photo shoots and ads. He has also designed for Amrita in the past.
He is like family to them and while discussions were on regarding the outfits, Amu asked Rick to decide one for her.
The source continues, "He explained what he had in mind and she completely loved the concept. Rick has also designed a saree for Mallaika for one of the occasions."
Excited
Rick says, "I am really excited about Amu's wedding. It is an honour for me to be designing for one of my closest friends' wedding.
I am making a churidar kurta for her. It's bright in colour and has heavy antique zardozi work along with stones and crystals.
The work is done in this place called Farkabad in Uttar Pradesh and is very traditional as Amrita wanted." The sangeet is on March 5.
