A day after reports emerged of Deepika Padukone starring in the Hindi remake of the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie-starrer Mr & Mrs Smith (2005), the actress has clarified she isn't part of it.

"I have always maintained that when I am offered a film, I will talk about it. If [I'm] not, I will never talk about it. Speculation can go on. The only film I am doing now is Padmavati (Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama). It is consuming my life. When I have something else to talk about, I will do that," she told reporters yesterday.

The actress appeared rather irked over the buzz, which suggested Dippy would team up with Sidharth Malhotra for the film, as she stated that spreading "untrue" information is "not classy". "There have been rumours regarding a lot of films that I am supposedly doing. There is a certain decorum and conduct [one must follow] when you're offered a film, whether you do it or not," she said.
