Not many are as fortunate as Rana Daggubati. While his first Hindi film Dum Maro Dum has just been released, he has already been offered two films by Fox Star Studios. However, Daggubati may not accept the offers. The grandson of illustrious South Indian producer D Ramanaidu who owns Suresh Productions in Hyderabad, Daggubati plans to revive the banner by starring in a Hindi film produced by it.

Star production wants to sign him on
According to a source, Ramanaidu's banner has not had a success in Bollywood for many years, but his grandson plans to change that. "One of Rana's primary interests in coming to Hindi cinema was to revive the banner's prestige in Bollywood," says a source. Daggubati has been a regular face in Telugu films.
Fox Star Studios, however, is keen to work with him. Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios says, "We've seen Rana's confidence build in the last few months. He's definitely star material. And we have two projects planned for him."
