On the sidelines of his Mumbai gig last night, world renowned DJ says keen to work on B-Town projects, expresses love for superstar Shah Rukh Khan
After wowing Hyderabad last week, DJ Kygo had Mumbai dancing to his tunes at the Ola Sunburn Arena last night. While his four-day whirlwind tour offered him little time to explore India, the Norwegian DJ admits to being fascinated with Indian music and Bollywood. The 26-year-old says that he'd like to collaborate with Indian artistes.

"There have been some incredible collaborations between Indian and western musicians over the years. I loved Diplo's collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan earlier this year [referring to the song Phurrr from Jab Harry Met Sejal]. If the right opportunity comes my way, I'd love to do something with an Indian act," says Kygo, adding that he is also looking forward to working on a Bollywood project.

Ask him if he is familiar with any B-Town stars, and the name that invariably comes up is that of King Khan. "Shah Rukh Khan is a big name all over the world. I know Prateik Babbar, who performed with me last night." He says his love for Indian EDM fans and food brings him back. "Indian fans are always up to date. My new album, Kids In Love, released recently, but I was surprised to see everyone sing along at the gig last night. I also love Indian food. Last time, when I was in Goa, I gorged on fresh fried fish," he laughs.
