Creating waves with her curls

Armed with an advanced acting diploma from the UK and a cameo in Ghajini, Kiren Jogi's lustrous mop of curls has managed to snag her a role in the teleseries Rishta.com. Kiren tells CS about how she keeps her maggie noodle-like locks soft and defined:u00a0

No tangle
I'm totally comfortable with my locks. And if I ever want a straight hair look, it can be achieved in just 30 minutes with the help of a good straightner. People often ask me whether my curls are difficult to maintain.

They are not. I comb my hair only once when it is soaking wet after a shower. So I guess it's easier to maintain, because I'm not one of those girls who carry a comb in their handbags, along with a million other things!

Home remedy
On a daily basis, I use oil before shampooing, then mousse and later apply a leave-in conditioner. I follow this regime without fail.

And to keep my curls in place, I use John Frieda haircare products. In fact, I swear by them. Unfortunately, the brand is available only in the UK. So whenever I go to the UK to meet my family, I have suitcase full of mousse and serum on my way back!

Old is gold
I love visiting the parlour and sticking to the old folk remedies like olive oil and castor oil combined head massage and steam. It is truly heavenly and a must-do for me once a week.
