Playful bite
When I was in the drama school in New York, a recipe that became an instant hit with my hostel mates was the thepla cheese roll. The thepla is the most accessible food item in the US; you'd get it at every supermarket. I'd put some American cheese on the theplas, sprinkle some oregano and chilli flakes on it and put it in the oven. Ta da, your thepla cheese roll is ready. But the secret to getting this dish right is that you have to take it out of the oven in 15 seconds flat.

Hit hai
Since I love cooking, I'm quite good at a variety of dishes. Aloo capsicum, aloo baingan, crunchy karela or bhindi are all my specialities. In fact, I love parwal and eat at least one leafy vegetable daily. But a dish that has become quite famous is litti chokha. Litti is almost like daal baati, flour cover but with sattu stuffing. And chokha is mashed potato. I like to serve dudhi raita with mustard powder as a dip with this dish. I'd made it at my film's wrap up party and it was an instant hit.
