The 2014 film 'Fugly' may have not been an ideal start to Mohit Marwah's Bollywood career, but he is hoping for a turnaround with his next, 'Raag Desh', based on the Red Fort trials of 1945. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film will have the actor playing Colonel Prem Sehgal, who is filmmaker Shaad Ali's maternal grandfather.

As part of his prep, Mohit met Shaad and they had a long chat over the character. "During the mahurat, I took his suggestions and tips for the look and body language.
I also met Colonel Sehgal's other family members who shared many anecdotes of him with me. Their inputs have been valuable and I am looking forward to their feedback when the film releases," says Mohit.

He also watched a few documentaries to understand more about the way army men conduct themselves. "It's a period film and I feel it's my responsibility to make people believe in my character," Mohit adds.
