After a four-year-long hiatus, the heartthrob of 90s Bobby Deol returned to 70 mm with Shreyas Talpade's directorial debut 'Poster Boys'. And the actor's work was well-received from all corners. Bobby is currently prepping up for the third instalment of their home production film 'Yamla Pagla Deewana'.

On Wednesday, the 48-year-old visited mid-day office and had an exclusive candid chat, wherein he revealed some unknown facts about himself and also opened up about the rumours surrounding him. Social media was abuzz that Bobby Deol has stopped receiving roles and therefore he's turned into a full-time DJ. Another grapevine was that Bobby used several fake Twitter accounts to tweet about himself and also that he hides his real age.

Quashing these rumours, an upset Bobby said, "People started saying I'm a DJ, I was never a DJ and I got trolled for that. People say I'm 50, I'm not. I'm 48. I don't have fake Twitter accounts." Getting more candid, the actor also answered few of the questions which people aren't aware of about him.

The 'Barsaat' actor was clear that he had to make his people aware about his image. He told mid-day, "People think I'm lazy. It was just that I was a little laid-back and never approached life." He further said that he dislikes people who are fake because he believes that they are full of themselves and arrogant.

Talking about the kind of roles he wants to do, the actor's approach towards choosing films has completely changed. He thinks that his ideology of only doing central characters bought a dent in his career. However, now his approach has changed. He's ready to do various kinds of roles.

"I always wanted to do different roles, but people don't want to approach you with those roles. I'm definitely trying to do something which is very different, if it works out, people will really appreciate it. There's no strategy for anything in this industry. One should never give up," signs off Bobby.
