Palazzos
Long, flowy and comfortable, palazzos are an ideal addition to your summer wardrobe. Take a cue from actress Anushka Sharma and go for a simple yet chic look.

“Incredibly comfortable, they can be casual or elegant. Wear floral prints in the day to achieve the former and a lovely white combined with a fitted shirt or summer corset and bright heels to achieve the latter,” says designer Sonu Dharnidharka.
How to wear: Palazzos by nature are extremely versatile and can be worn in a variety of ways.
>> Pair your palazzos with a simple white or black tee and add a statement necklace to jazz up the look.
>> If you want a slightly more feminine look, wear your palazzos with a lace top and stilettos.
>> For a more formal look, add a jacket or light blazer to your look with wedges or pumps. You’d be surprised how well the two blend.
>> For a casual, laidback look on the other hand, team your palazzos with a hat or a crop top. A funky, loose muscle tee is comfortable and trendy too.

Jumpsuits
The jumpsuit is proving to be quite a dominant trend in the markets. From denim rompers to floral onesies, they’re comfortable and stylish. A popular trend in the 70’s, jumpsuits have made quite a big comeback

This is possibly that one summer trend that can work both for better or for worse depending on how you style it. This risqué yet oh-so chic look has taken over both the runways and streets.

>> For a chic, summer appropriate look, team a pair of loose boyfriend jeans with a well fitting top.
>> If you want to add some jazz to your look, add some stylish heels or wedges with a white top and blazer.
>> Bring back the ’70s by tucking in a loose blouse with a pair of flared jeans and heels.

Apart from giving you a chic, outdoor look, they combine functionality with style by keeping the heat at bay and also giving you a stylish look. “It can be tricky wearing head gear. Don’t make the look overpowering. Go for a western or indo-western look,” says designer Shilpa Reddy.

>> If your head accessory is too big, loosen a few stray strands of hair for a subtler look.

Maxi dresses
Maxis are an essential wardrobe addition. Not only do they easily transition from a day to night wear, but they are also incredibly comfortable and stylish. Feminine and flattering, it can give just the right shape to your silhouette, and depending on the fabric, can heavily beat the heat.
