"The film is part of a journey of the dream of people in the nooks and corners of India. Bollywood is a huge jackpot as seen by millions. Even though we may have settled in life and achieved something, yet there is something in us which we want to see in Bollywood. The actor plays a family man hailing from a small city, having done and achieved all the right things in life usually expected from an ideal husband and a father, but now realises it is time for him to chase his unfulfilled dream, a lifelong hidden desire to act in a Bollywood film, and turn it into reality.
Salim Diwan plays a middle class youth in the film and is the sole breadwinner of his family. He said, "The average youth will relate to my character that secretly yearns to fulfill his Bollywood dream. The film also shows how far my character can go to achieve his dream".
