Kat, who was to leave on Friday says, "I was trying to get to London for an important family function yesterday but all the flights were cancelled so I couldn't attend it. I am very upset! All the air spaces were shut because of the volcano so there was no chance of going. I waited till Saturday for the British air space to open so I could go but no chance."
The actress adds that the event was very special for her. "It was my grandfather's 90th birthday (April 18) and all my family members had gathered in London to celebrate it. I hate this volcano! It's ruining everything and our papers are only talking about the IPL when Europe is in a crisis of epic proportions."
