The Cancer Aid & Research Foundation (CARF) in association with Airawaat hosted an exhibition-cum-sale of art called Art for Living 2011, for the cause of needy cancer patients.

The exhibition was inaugurated with outstanding support from social activists and prominent personalities from the film and art community.u00a0

Sangeeta Ahir who is supporting the cause for the fund raising exhibition for CARF found support in film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Suresh Shetty, Minister of Public Health, Government of Maharashtra, Kiran Shantaram, noted director and son of V Shantaram, Niu Qingbao- Consul-General, People's Republic of China, Sajid Khan, actor-producer, Zarine Khan, actress, Col Manish Masand, CEO, Jaslok Hospital and Narendra Verma, NCP president.
