Comic actor Arshad Warsi will feature in Discovery Travel and Living's new TV series, Invite Ian, hosted by Ian Wright (of Globe Trekker).

Says a source close to the actor, "He was picked from a host of B-Town stars for his versatility to do comedy and serious roles. He fit the slot. Ian and his crew came to Goa and shot with Arshad there."

Says Warsi, "The concept is to show the life of a celebrityu00a0-- model, rock singer, actor etcu00a0-- in different countries. In India, they wanted to feature an actor. Ian and I hit it off very well. It's as if we had an instant connect. Ian never wanted to be a host and I didn't want to be an actor.

Ian has come on the sets of Golmaal 3 in Goa and shot me everywhere - from my sets to my van, hotel room and even my bathroom! I have been cracking jokes and pulling pranks on him. Ian is great fun to be with and we have gone out for dinner a couple of times."

He adds that he was chosen to feature on the show after they went through his profile on the net. "Ian and his crew are very normal and down-to-earth and Ian has a crazy sense of humour. I have asked Ian to join all the classes from acting to dancing and fighting if he wants to become an actor."
