Arjun Kapoor is set to share screen space with his Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti Chopra after five years, and going by the title of their upcoming film, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, it appears that the actor is set to elope with Chopra, yet again. Interestingly, the duo will also share the love-hate relationship that made their jodi a hit in the 2012 drama, in this upcoming Dibakar Banerjee-directed project.
Yet, for Kapoor, reuniting with Chopra is special, given that she was his first co-star. "Parineeti saw me at my most vulnerable time. Both of us were still figuring out who we were, more as human beings than actors. We spent a lot of time talking, we shared our vanity van, and often discussed how we didn't know what lay ahead. We spoke about our insecurities with each other, and knew we'd always be there for one other," says Kapoor.
The actor couldn't have found a better film to reunite with Chopra for a second outing. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar follows a man and woman who represent two different mindsets of Indians. Their suspicion for one another binds them. "Dibakar is unique, and a fantastic director. The script excites Parineeti and me."
