Emmy Award winner Archie Panjabi is all set to tell Indians how to be good wives. As she makes her first appearance on Indian television in a new American series, she talks to CS about herself and Indian cinema:
Indian roots
Many people ask me if I'd like to star in a Bollywood film, and I say that I would love tou00a0-- I'm Indian after all! Let me tell you that I love all the song and dance routine. Aren't these moments sometimes the most memorable parts of an Indian film?
Mumbai calling
Mumbai has a certain pull for me and given a day to shop, I'd take a flight and land up in Mumbai for sure. I would love to pick up some beautiful Indian clothes, which I could wear to events.
Happy trips
On a day off, you'll find me chilling with friends and family and my little dog, Benzo. And if I get a long stretch of free days together, I make sure I take off to some place; I love travelling and going to the theatre. Listening to music also makes me very happy.
