Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently in New Delhi for an event, stayed back for a day to spend time with his niece Samara (his sister Riddhima's newborn), who he named.
Says a source close to the actor, "Though he had pressing commitments in Mumbai, Ranbir stayed back in Delhi during a recent visit so he could spend time with his month-old niece.
He spent the whole day playing with her and taking many pictures on his cell phone. He misses her a lot and just needs an excuse to fly to Delhi to be with her."
The tot was named so because of an old promise the siblings made years ago.
Younger days
When the two were studying, they loved the name as Riddhima knew a girl named that.
They decided then and there that if Riddhima ever had a baby girl, she would name her Samara. By the time the baby was born, Riddhima had forgotten the episode. RK reminded her."
