Believe it or not, Priyanka Chopra and Sunny Pawar weren't the only Indians to make an impact at the Oscars this year. One Bollywood celeb whose contribution to the grand awards show is coming to light now is Anushka Sharma.
The Bollywood star was not only there at the 2017 Oscars, but she was in a position to stop the Best Picture blooper and did her best in trying to avert it, but to no avail.
But presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway couldn't understand her, or see her for that matter, on the Oscar stage and so the goof-up happened.
Anushka took to Twitter to share herOscar experience. She posted, "Yeh log mujhe sun nahin paye, main toh kab se Hindi mein keh rahi thi ki naam galat likha hai (These people coldn't hear me. I was telling them for a long time, in Hindi, that they got the name wrong.).

For those who didn't get it, it's a joke. The meme was part of a social media campaign to promote her upcoming film 'Phillauri' called #ShashiWasHere. As part of the campaign, Anushka, dressed as her ghost character Shashi from the film turns up in various locations.
Her fans have also joined the campaign and posted various other spots 'Shashi' was 'seen'.
