Neetu Chandra and Anuj Saxena have gone their separate ways. It is learnt that the duo, who were seeing each other until recently, are now not even on talking terms. Their budding relationship has gone kaput even before it could go to the next level.

The first whiff that something was amiss was when the 13 B actress was missing from the bash hosted by Anuj recently. The party was to mark the completion of his film Chase, directed by Jagmohan Mundra.

Anuj had invited all those near and dear to him at his restaurant in Andheri apart from the film's cast and crew. There were several folk from the small screen world as well. But Neetu did not figure in the guest list.

No time
Says a source, "As both are busy with their work, time became a major constraint. Anuj could never give much time to Neetu. He is too career-obsessed more than anything. She was expecting a role in one of his Maverick productions but nothing was happening on that front."

When asked about the split, Anuj preferred not to comment while Neetu maintains, "Now whoever is saying this? I have just received a Diwali gift from him."

She adds, "I could not attend his film completion bash as I was busy. I am shooting for the Telugu version of Bachna Ae Haseeno besides dubbing for Jagmohan Mundra's Apartment. There is also Anees Bazmee's No Problem and Ramgopal Varma's Rann."

As reported 'I am outgoing' (Hitlist, July 7), Neetu and Anuj had been spotted together at restaurants and events earlier in the year which sparked speculation about their relationship.

Staying away
Adds the source, "Though Neetu stays in the same building at Lokhandwala where Anuj's production house is located they don't cross each other's path."

Neetu had met Anuj the first time on the sets of Chase. At that time she had maintained that as Mundra was directing his film as well as her in Apartment, the director was a common factor between them.
