In Los Angeles on personal work, AK bumped into the director. Apart from talking about the film, the two also discussed the changing face of Bollywood.

A source reveals, "The 24 star told everyone how much he loved it. But he didn't expect to bump into David so soon after watching the film.

It was sheer coincidence that the two were at the same place in LA.

They met up for 10 minutes and the actor told the director he was highly moved by the story. In fact after the meeting, the two decided to keep in touch and follow each other's work. David even told Anil he loved his 24 run."

Anil confirms meeting David and adds, "The Fighter is one of the best films I have seen in a long time. The performances in the film are excellent and the direction is one the finest."

What's The Fighter about
The film, which is expected to pick up a few Oscar statuettes, is the story of two brothers, both boxers. It is the real life story of pugilist Micky Ward. With biggies like Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams toplining the project, it has already taken Hollywood byu00a0 storm, and is set to release in India this Friday.
