Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor to star in a Bollywood film together

Anil Kapoor will be teaming up with daughter Sonam for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's production, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The title is from a track in the Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala-starrer 1942: A Love Story (1994)

The film will be directed by Vidhu's sister, Shelly Chopra. Vidhu announced the project while speaking to the press at the opening ceremony of the MAMI film festival on Thursday. Shelly was to direct Marco Bhau with Sanjay Dutt last year. The project did not take off as Dutt felt the script needed to be reworked. Looks like now it has been shelved.
