Alia Bhatt on superhero film with Ranbir Kapoor: There will be lot of action around me

Alia Bhatt, who is set to feature in her first action outing in Ayan Mukherji's sci-fi fantasy adventure, says the film isn't a run-of-the-mill superhero movie

Alia Bhatt, who is set to feature in her first action outing in Ayan Mukherji's sci-fi fantasy adventure, says the film isn't a run-of-the-mill superhero movie.

"It is not a typical superhero film. It is a sci-fi, supernatural one. There will be lot of action around me. I don't think I will beat up anybody," she said, adding that the cast and crew will need to understand the backdrop of the film before the shoot kicks off.

"There will be some extensive prep work, not for the acting, but for the world. It's a new world, but there is no dialect that we have to learn," she informs.

The film, tentatively titled Dragon, will pair the actress with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. "Ayan said there is no Ranbir and Alia in the film. There is just one character. It is that tight a love story," she says about the movie, which will also feature Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role.
