Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will have a special appearance and a song sequence in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film 'Padmavati'.
The film stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead and Aditi Rao Hydari in a supporting role.
"Bhansali spoke to Ash and they both are really keen to make it work. The song will be filmed during a 15-20 day schedule, which includes rehearsals at a suburban studio. Ash also has a few dialogues,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali won't be creating a 'jugalbandi' similar to Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 'Devdas' or Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in 'Bajirao Mastani'.
"This will completely different from anything seen before," the source told the tabloid.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar's Diwali release 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan.
The actress is reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after their third collaboration, 'Guzaarish', in 2010, following which she took a five-year sabbatical. The two had first come together 17 years ago for 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' in 1999 and later in 'Devdas' (2002).
