Close on the heels of Salman Khan booking Ramzan Eid till 2018 for his films, brother Sohail Khan to release his directorial venture on Bakri Eid
Salman Khan's fascination for Ramzan Eid is well-known. For the last couple of years, his films have been greeting moviegoers on the festive occasion. This year, it was Sultan, which is inching closer to the Rs 300-crore mark, while 2017 Eid is booked for Kabir Khan's Tubelight. The festival window has been reserved for him in 2018 as well, although he is undecided about which film to take to the theatres on that day.

Now, the star has captured Bakri Eid too — well, in a way. He is presenting Freaky Ali, which is helmed by his younger brother, actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan. It is slated to release on September 9 coinciding with the festival of sacrifice. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arbaaz Khan and Amy Jackson.
Says a source, "Salman considers Badi Eid lucky since all his films released on that day have set box office records. Now, Sohail, too, hopes to hit the bull's eye by zeroing in on Chhoti Eid. So, be it a Salman-starrer or a film by his brothers, it will be Eid all the way for the Khandaan."
Adds the source, "Sohail recently wrapped up the film's shooting and was keen to release it soon. When he began exploring the options, he felt Bakri Eid was a good bet to lure the audience to theatres."
