Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's on-screen reunion finally happening?

Over the weekend, there was renewed buzz about the Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Gulab Jamun. The couple is said to have finally given their nod to Anurag Kashyap's production, which will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara. Over a year ago, there was talk that Kashyap was keen to cast them together.

Junior B and Ash were last seen in Mani Ratnam's Raavan (2010). After a great deal of deliberation, the two now feel the script is right for them. An official announcement will be made in the coming weeks.

There was a lot of curiosity about the project as they were to play a cop couple in the thriller. Gossip mongers suggest that the makers have tweaked the script on Ash's suggestion. The duo was given a joint narration recently.

On the work front, for Fanney Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will reunite with her Taal co-star Anil Kapoor after 17 years. She plays a singing sensation in the film and will be romancing Rajkummar Rao. While Abhishek Bachchan is all geared up for Manmarziyaan, a romantic drama, that will release on September 21.
