Aamir Khan, who has been holidaying with wife Kiran Rao and kids in France, took a short break and returned to Delhi so he could honour a prior commitment. Khan is now sanitation brand ambassador and will promote cleanliness in all Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools across India.u00a0 
The actor was with his kids Ira and Junaid at the Chamonix ski resort where the family started their vacation. After the event in Delhi, he now travels to Paris and then London, before returning on May 10.
A source says, "Aamir's kids strictly warned him not to cut the vacation short under any circumstance. This is the first time they have got such a long vacation with their dad. But since their papa was committed to the cleanliness initiative, he had to travel down for a day."
Skipping Cannes
After braving the gruelling heat in Delhi, the actor is looking forward to resuming his holiday in Europe. However, he will skip Cannes, where his film Peepli Live is being showcased. It isn't in competition. The source adds, "The film has already generated interest among international buyers. It got standing ovations at both Sundance and Berlin, and has already been sold to a few foreign markets."
Once Aamir returns in May, his priorities will be showcasing Peepli to more buyers and also working on the final edits of Dhobhi Ghaat and Delhi Belly.
