Before leaving for a vacation with his kids last week, Aamir Khan had a special trial of his three productions Delhi Belly, Dhobi Ghaat and Anusha Rizvi's The Falling.u00a0 When he returns, he will sit on the postproduction of these films.

A source reveals, "Raju wants to release Three Idiots this year-end. However, Aamir is of the opinion that they should wait and watch what's releasing at the time before setting the date. 
Aamir's biggest competitor, Shah Rukh's My Name is Khan, is scheduled for an end-of-the-year release too.
AK wants his film to release very close to Khan's release and have another face-off like last year's Ghajini vs Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi."

The director and the actor have had long discussions about the release date. "Even though Aamir lets Raju have the last word; about the release of the film, he has definite plans of his own.
