A collector's dream
I recently moved into a new home and am yet to design and set things up. In my previous home, I had a walk-in closet, but in this house, I get two huge wardrobes all to myself! I'm a collector and I still have stuff from my childhoodu00a0-- hairbands from school days, accessories, etc.
Though my wardrobe's not too organised, I've got different shelves for casuals, casual chic, gym wear, party wear, and shoes. I have a fetish for accessories, especially earrings and have a crazy collection of hairbands. A lot of people underestimate accessories, but they are one of the best ways to jazz up your outfit. I take longer to decide what accessories to wear than I take to select a dress. A white t-shirt, red lips and huge gold earrings can make you look absolutely fab.
Dress to impress
The most expensive item in my wardrobe is a Diane von Furstenberg dress. I bought it from the States and spent a fortune on it. It has this beautiful combination of vibrant colours - shades of green and purple. I just fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The store had a sale going on and I just pulled off the dress from its hanger and walked to the cash counter. I didn't even check the price and when it was time to pay, I came to know that it was for '65,000 after discount. But I had to have it, and I'm glad I bought it; it fits like a dream. I was photographed so much the only time I wore it. I'll repeat it again when the occasion is right.u00a0
Colour code
I'm a hardcore high-street shopper and love to dress according to my age. My wardrobe has stuff from Zara, Mango, Vero Moda and other international brands. You'll find that I have tons and tons of skirtsu00a0- polka dotted, checks, printsu00a0- you name it. And I have countless tops to go with them.
The colour that dominates my closet is purple. You'll find at least one item of clothing (skirts, tops, dresses, bags, shoes and accessories) in the colour. Purple complements every skin tone and gives you a royal, but fun look. In fact, all jewel colours are niceu00a0-- deep pink, maroon, lush green.
