83: Ranveer Singh's film's NFT to be launched on December 23

Official digital collectibles (NFTs) of the upcoming film 83 will launch on 23rd December on nft.socialswag.com The NFTs include autographed physical cricket memorabilia, video scenes, animated digital avatars, and unseen posters and images. 
 
The Producers of 83 today announced they have partnered with NFT Labs, Inc. ($MYNE)  and Social Swag, an influencer-led fan engagement platform, for the exclusive release of official digital collectibles (NFTs) of the movie. 
 
The digital collectibles range around the 83 film is an incredible portfolio of digital and physical assets that will appeal both to Bollywood and Cricket fans, as well as NFT enthusiasts, globally.
 
"We are delighted to venture into this exciting arena of digital possibilities along with credible partners, to provide Bollywood and Cricket fans the opportunity to benefit from the movie’s box office success in a manner never done before… 83 is a moment in Indian history that everyone relates to, which makes this a unique opportunity for collectors, and we are excited to see the response," said Kabir Khan, the director of the film. 
 
Based on the true story of India’s iconic 1983 World Cup victory against the West Indies, the film sees Ranveer Singh stepping into the shoes of Kapil Dev. Also starring are Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi. While Deepika Padukone Will be seen in a cameo avatar playing Romi, Kapil Dev's Wife.
 
Minted on the Polygon blockchain ($MATIC), the 83 film NFTs comprise a few distinct collections. To participate in the NFT release that goes live on Thursday, 23rd  December at 12 pm IST, users need to whitelist themselves by entering a valid email address at nft.socialswag.com. 
 
"1983 has etched itself in history as the moment that changed Indian cricket forever. The story of that world cup victory has been told and retold through generations - making this moment timeless. With NFTs, for the first time, people can own a piece of that moment and own a piece of history! A possibility that no one would have imagined before Web 3.0. Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films present 83, a Kabir Khan Films Production. The film is produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sheetal Vinod Talwar, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. 83 is directed by Kabir Khan. A Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures release slated this Christmas on 24th December 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
