The movie highlights the rampant issue of drug abuse among the youth in Punjab and stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles.

While Shahid plays a rockstar who gets caught in a controversy, Alia Bhatt is seen in a de-glam role, portraying a migrant Bihari labourer.
