The director of Titli, Kanu Behl, had a fanboy moment when Iranian filmmaker, Abbas Kiarostami attended a special screening of the film at Cannes.

Kanu was pleasantly surprised to see the renowned filmmaker in the audience.
Kiarostami attained critical acclaim for directing Taste of Cherry which was awarded the Palme d’Or at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.
