'High-tech' Sajid swears by 3D

Sajid Khan's brought a brand new 3D home theatre system home and couldn't wait to show it off. The gizmo freak invited CS home to give us a demo with Resident Evil: Afterlife on his dhinchak home theatre system. The stand up comic-turned-director talks about his love for entertainment technology:

3D effect
I had read about the 3D system being developed for home theatres six months ago and I have been following the news since then. So, when the system was launched, I wasted no time in buying one for myself a month back and it's just growing on me.

Since then, I have been hooked onto watching high definition Blu-ray discs on my brand new system. Trust me, it's the most fantastic experience ever! This experience is even better if you are watching a film like Resident Evil - After life.

All the bullets seem to pop out of the LCD screen as this was the second film after Avatar to be shot on 3D PACE camera. Prolonged viewing can give you a headache but that's a small price to pay.

Watching the latest FIFA action with friends on a Blu-ray disc on his brand new 3D home theatre system is on my wishlist this month.u00a0u00a0

Passion perfect
I have always loved films. Right from watching films in the theatres when there were only few good ones in the city, to updating my gadgets to better my film viewing experience, I spend most of my money on cinema.
Besides, I don't spend much on anything except perfumes. My 3D system is my latest symbol of my passion for
cinema.

Gadget update
I can proudly say that I owned a Hi-Fi system stereo sound system in early 80s even though I couldn't afford it. I was also amongst the first few people to own a DVD player in Mumbai.

Likewise with the Plasma system and high definition Blu-ray disc player. So, when theatres showed films on 2mm projectors, I watched it on a 4mm projector at my house. The picture quality was larger than life and you could spot the smallest of mistakes.
