There has been buzz that the Aamir Khan-starrer, 'Dangal', might release this Independence Day. While the makers are tightlipped, ever since the speculations did the rounds, the production house backing the project finds itself in a bit of a dilemma.

They are also the names associated with the Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Mohenjo Daro' which is slated to release on Independence Day too. Though Aamir’s fans have gone berserk on social media saying that Mr Perfectionist should stick to Christmas to release his film — the festival he is associated for his films.

Many feel that as 'Dangal' has patriotic overtures, August 15 is a good option for it as compared to 'Mohejo Daro' which is a love story.

The date issue has apparently led to a stand off between Aamir and the production house. So let’s wait for the announcement.
