'The Archies' follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton and takes audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale. The film explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak, and rebellion.  He is all set to come up with the film 'Ikkis' also starring legendary actor Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat. ‘Ikkis’ is touted to be a war drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. He was awarded Param Vir Chakra posthumously and lived an exemplary life. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, the film will release on January 10, 2025. It is being made under Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.

For the filling: Grate 1 coconut, sauté in 2 tsp ghee, then add 1.5 tsp poppy seeds, 1 cup grated jaggery, and 1/2 tsp cardamom powder. Mix until everything melts into sweet, fragrant bliss. Shape the modaks: Grease your hands, take a portion of dough, fill generously, and seal them perfectly! Steam with haldi leaves and a few strands of kesar for 10-12 mins. Siddharth Nigam, popularly known for his roles in 'Ashoka' and 'Aladdin', is a big-time foodie. Sid, who loves 'ghar ka khana' (homemade food), shared that his mom makes "Aaloo ki Kheer," which is his favourite sweet dish. The actor didn’t have to struggle to find good food because, for him, his mom is the best cook. He revealed, “My mom makes a sweet dish called 'Aaloo ki Kheer,' and it's my favourite. It's very difficult to make, and no one can make it the way my mom does. Even my grandmother and my maternal grandmother can't make it as delicious as she does. If she ever has to convince me of anything or make me happy, she makes Aaloo ki Kheer.” Siddharth Nigam's experience of shifting to Mumbai Recalling the early days when he had just moved to Mumbai, Siddharth shared his experience of living in a small room in Karjat. He said, “When I first came to Mumbai, we didn't have any relatives here. So, when I was doing 'Ashoka', we were staying in Karjat. In Karjat, we were given a room, and we lived there for two and a half years. That room had a small kitchen, where my mom set everything up. I would always eat food cooked by my mom. Even on set, I would eat proper meals like dal, chawal, sabzi, and roti.” Siddharth Nigam's favourite Mumbai street food When asked about his favourite food from Mumbai, Siddharth surprised everyone by revealing that it is not Vada Pav or Misal Pav, but Dabeli is his favourite Mumbai street food. The actor said, “I love Dabeli; I had never tried anything like it before, and I found it very unique.” He further continued, “Chaat, Pani Puri, Tamatar... all these things I love in UP. I never tried chaat and all these things in Mumbai because I couldn’t find a similar taste.”

Shilpa Shetty treats her taste buds to traditional South Indian thali delight

Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who was last seen in the film ‘Sukhee’, is giving a peek into her culinary delights. On Tuesday, the actress took to the Stories section of her Instagram and shared a picture of a traditional South Indian thali that she indulged in. The thali shows veggies and pulses cooked in south Indian style and Kerala parotta placed over a banana leaf. The actress wrote over the picture, “#southindianthali #dakshin”. In another picture, the actress can be seen enjoying a serene view of the Arabian Sea with the Gateway of India in the backdrop. The picture is taken from the heritage Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which is also the headquarters of the Taj group of hotels, and was constructed by Jamsetji Tata. It is the same hotel where the deadly attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai took place.  Shilpa who is known for her insane fitness levels, generally never indulges in food but, this time she discounted her diet to enjoy the South Indian food. Recently, choreographer-director Farah Khan took a flight but couldn’t enjoy the in-flight culinary experience courtesy of Shilpa. Farah shared a video of herself sitting next to Shilpa Shetty Kundra on a flight. As the air hostess walked up to Farah and handed her a beverage, Shilpa looked at Farah angrily after which the director refused the beverage.
