The digital space was equally a buzz, with over 63 million social media impressions.

With this year's theme, “Inspiration to Action”, the conference focused on empowering organisations with the tools and insights needed to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of work. As the HR industry grows by leaps and bounds, the event served as a rallying call, urging businesses to catalyse a future-ready workforce by embracing speed, sustainability, and resilience.

“In a world where conventional approaches fall short, there’s a need for a new vision,” said  Ester Martinez CEO and Editor-in-Chief of People Matters, “A pivotal shift from ego-centric toeco-centric leadership is leading to a collaborative, purpose-driven model. The conference encouraged leaders to rethink roles and organisational structures - transitioning to a broader, ecosystem-focused approach.”

The conference unveiled an exclusive research report on the state of the HR industry - “People Matters SHRPA 2024”, which saw a participation of 1300 survey participants and 25+ in-depth interviews with CXOs and HR leaders covering India, South East Asia, ANZ, and the Middle East. According to the Study, 77% of HR leaders are change-ready and able to adapt to business and talent disruptions. Yet, 64% are set to miss out on HR transformation if it's not people-centric and tech-enabled.

Another major highlight was the launch of People Matters Octopus, a groundbreaking HR technology solution developed through a unique co-creation process with industry leaders and HR professionals.
