Sundar Nathan, An Author & A Former Silicon Valley Engineer & Entrepreneur

Sundar Nathan, a former Silicon Valley engineer and entrepreneur, has seamlessly transitioned from the tech world to the realm of storytelling. Now residing in Austin, Texas, he balances his role as a consultant at the University of Texas with his passion for writing. Nathan’s latest book, Demons and Their Gods, continues his celebrated Naraka Cycle series, showcasing his exceptional talent for mythological fiction.

Inspired by the ancient tales recounted by his grandmother Namagiri and mother Saroja, Nathan’s storytelling brilliance shines through in this new release. The novel begins with Ravan, a young Asuran prince, recovering from a harrowing battle in the perilous Aranya jungle. Under the enigmatic guidance of the Teacher, the story delves into themes of mystery, conflict, and the complexities of power, setting a gripping tone for the saga.

Nathan masterfully weaves narrative rich in family dynamics and political tension. Queen Kaikesi, Ravan’s mother, is deeply concerned for her son’s safety, while his father, King Vishrav, is driven by an ambition to conquer their enemies, the Nagas, and earn the favor of the powerful Devas. This clash of fears and ambitions adds depth to the story, exploring the delicate balance between power and duty.

The novel also follows Ravan’s sister, Surpanakha, as she embarks on a dangerous journey into the Aranya, adding layers of suspense and intrigue. Demons and Their Gods is not just a tale of battles; it is an epic journey of self-discovery and adventure. Sundar Nathan’s latest work is a testament to his mastery of mythological fiction, promising to captivate readers worldwide. Now available at major bookstores and online retailers, this book is a must-read for fans of the genre.
