ZHA Sustainability Practitioners Club (ZSPC)
The ZHA Sustainability Practitioners Club (ZSPC), a non-profit initiative, recently hosted the prestigious Zha Sustainability Practitioners Conference at PSG College of Arts and Science (PSGCAS), Coimbatore. The event aimed to foster a sustainability mindset among youth and celebrate the achievements of government corporation school students who successfully completed a three-month pilot program. These students earned the Zha Curriculum for Sustainability Mindset Level 1 Certification – White Hat.

This milestone marks a significant achievement, as it is the first time in India that a corporation in Tamil Nadu has adopted a sustainability learning curriculum for government schools. Recognitions for this groundbreaking initiative were given during the event by the Honourable Commissioner Mr. Sivaguru Prabhakar, Mr. Murugesan, CEO of Coimbatore Corporation, and the school principals.
The Vision Behind the Initiative
This impactful program was meticulously planned by Mr. Karki Ashokkumar, the founder of ZHA Foundation, whose book, ZHA Methodology for a Sustainability Mindset, outlines practical solutions to instill sustainability practices and skills among students and professionals.
The ZSPC team used this conference as a platform to promote the Zha Sustainability Practitioners Club model and to honor government school students and teachers with ZSPC certifications for their efforts and accomplishments.
