Contemporary Wind, an exhibition organized by Romartika Art Decoded, is exhibiting paintings by nineteen contemporary artists at the Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery in Pune from May 14th to 19th, 2024. The opening of the show was graced by renowned artists Prakash Ambegaonkar and Zen Vartan. Saikat Baksi, a well-known author and art enthusiast recognized for the podcast "Art Beyond Canvas," focusing on the socio-political and psychological dimensions of art, curated this exhibition.

The display presents a veritable spread of style and content. Kshipra Pitre’s pencil sketches stop the viewers in their tracks. Particularly, her painting, An Immortal’s Journey, is intensely thought-provoking. Aprit Vyas's Pop-inspired works are captivating. A favour of Tagore and modernity blend seamlessly on the canvas of Onjali M Prasada. Preeti Anand and Alka C Singh's abstract landscapes are fragrant with mystic charm. Kranti Desai’s aesthetic magic on a white backdrop is pleasing to the eye.

Landscapes by Nilanjana Roy, Gitanjali Sengupta and Ena Saini offer an impressionistic aura. Breathe of life pulsates in the rocks painted by Sulochana Gawde. Jiban Krishna’s pen and ink works are disturbingly beautiful. The pristine freshness of Indian miniature is palpable in Brinda Nilesh’s works. Reshma Valliappan’s abstracts are the perfect mix of harmony and chaos. Kavita Tambolkar takes us to a land of joy and love. Saikat Baksi's surrealism is an embodiment of mystery. Shagun Lathi’s naturalistic paintings are engaging in a nostalgic way. Zahra Ansari and Rishi Baksi’s paintings are leading indicators of art in the world of tomorrow. Kandinsky and Paul Kler resound in Poulami’s works.

Eminent artists Sharad Tarde and Suchita Tarde will engage in deep analysis with the artists about their artworks. It is an unmissable visual treat for art lovers.
