Watch The Uniqueness Of TV show 'Chhotaki Chhatanki' on Azaad TV and MX Player Under Banner Gaonwala Concept Studioz

There is always an attempt to portray women on TV as typically Sanskari Bahus of our society. Parents are always shown worried to marry off their daughters to the grooms  with good financial background. Hence, post marriage most of the girls have to suffer in the hands of their husbands and in-laws. But serial 'Chhotaki Chhatanki' has a unique storyline which questions the desperation to marry off girls to well off boys without considering the compatibility factor among the would be grooms and would be brides. The show has been wonderfully written by Priyom Jha who in the past has written many popular shows.

Recently, a press conference regarding the serial was held at one of the bunglow of Madh Island where the shooting of the serial is going on. During the press conference the cast and the crew was present including the main protagonist of the show Supriya Kumari.

Supriya Kumari plays the title role of 'Chhotaki Chhatanki' aka the youngest sister among all the three sisters. Interestingly, Supriya Kumari played a very popular character in Colors serial 'Bairi Piya'. She was also seen in serials like 'Agale Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Keejo' and 'Looteri Dulhan' among others.

Supriya Kumari is playing  a thinking, charming and bubbly girl who has a very carefree attitude towards life which is very unlike her other two elder sisters. The character of the eldest sister (Badaki) is being played by Payal Jaiswal wherein Pragati Mishra is seen as the middle sister (Manzhali).

Talkimg about the show, a very elated Supriya Kumari said, "This show is set in Bihar and I myself belong to Jharkhand. So there were no problems related to the way I speak in the show. But I was told that my character is just like Charlie Chaplin, who is restless, comic and very joyful at the same time. Hence, to prepare myself for the role I watched lot of cartoon shows and it helped me a lot."

Apart from the three lead actors of the show, actors like Sagar Saini, Aslesha Singh, Siddharth Dhawan, Apala Bisht, Abhik Bannerjee, Vivek Shrivastav, Shivan Singh, Prashant Shyam, Gauresh Khale and Nishant will be seen playing interesting and very prominent roles in the show.

The show has been produced under the banner of Gaonwala Concept Studioz which is dedicated to creating new and innovative concepts and many interesting shows are already in the pipeline. Interestingly, the concept and story of the show is by Dhananjay Singh Masoom who is also the producer of the show. Not only this, he has also given the unique title of the show 'Chhotaki Chhatanki'.

Talking about the show Dhananjay Singh Masoom said, "Parents should think before they try to marry off their daughters to rich and well to do boys. Instead they should figure out right kind of grooms for their girls so that at the  later stage they don't have to face harrasment in the hands of husbands and in-laws. And that's the theme of my show."

The show has a Bihari backdrop. And the writer of the show Priyom Jha also hails from Bihar. He says, "Over the years, things have changed but the more the things change, the more they remain the same. Bihar is the land of so many contradictions. Through this show I have tried to portray many realities of our society. I am hoping that people will like this show."
