The PaintBrush Art Community is back with another accomplishment, and this time it successfully Revived Retro in its exhibition Retro Revival 2.0 at Double Tree By Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf on October 15th, 2022.
The concept was the brainchild of the Founder of The PaintBrush Art Community, Sonal Purohit. Retro Revival was the most successful online art exhibition done during the covid times. It was viewed by more than 4,000 live audiences in the online version. This time Sonal decided to do it in real as RETRO REVIVAL 2.0. The exhibition turned out to be spectacular with the finest retro artworks.

The exhibition was a fusion of Retro artworks with Retro fashion. The artists were like artwork themselves. They came dressed in retro and did a fashion walk on the stage. Dr. Sangeeta Parashar bagged the first prize for the best-dressed retro Artist.
The exhibition was attended by celebrity guests from the world of art and entertainment. Houte Coutre Fashion Designer and the representative of the museum Of Americas, Sultana Kazim, inaugurated the ceremony and charmed every heart present.
Actress and CEO of Zen Films Productions, Fathima Zenofar, graced the exhibition as a guest of Honor. Legendary artist and entrepreneur Ahmed Al Awadhi (Rukni) interacted with the artists and shared his valuable input with them. International Lawyer and entrepreneur Rashmi Chhabra, Saju Nair from Televisionario2, Kapil Chhabra, and Meena Laitu were there to extend their love and support for the art.
The exhibition proved to be a refreshing change from otherwise monotonous subjects. It was a sight to watch all the artists dressed in their retro avatars as if coming directly from the Retro era. They were equally beautiful as their art. The artworks were special too. Retro is not an easy subject to create on the canvas. The artist came out of their comfort zone and put their heart and soul to recreate the magical era in their art. Artist and Philanthropist Kusum Dutta also shared her commitment to charity for the underprivileged.
It was great to watch Sultana Kazim share her days with retro celebrities like Mohammed Ali, and the way she was dressed up with the hat and glasses added some glory.
Co-founder Dr. Romit Purohit was at his wits best. Funny and entertaining. A charmer as he is, kept the event lively and vibrant. The opening ceremony turned into a retro fashion 'Jalsa' of the artists who successfully Revived Retro by putting all their heart and soul into their art. The artists proved that they belong to a different creed of humanity that can bring life to any idea given to them. The artists who contributed to bringing life to the concept were:
