Pratham Shaw popularly known as Fireeyes Gaming is an Indian YouTuber and Gamer with around 3.9 Million subscribers and growing.
Hailing from the small town of Purulia in West Bengal, this 17-year old star has created one of a kind channel, which has garnered millions of likes and views to his gameplay videos.
About his YouTube Career, Pratham recalls a few moments as how due to lack of exact YouTube knowledge, his first channel got terminated. His disappointment leads him towards demotivation. He then started learning more about Google policies, read many articles and finally, in 2019 started a new YouTube channel ‘Fireeyes Gaming’.
He also recalls the challenges and problems he had to overcome to make it as an ace gamer, especially from a small town.
“For sure, there were many problems in the beginning as I am a student. It was hard for me to manage time schedules. As I was in 10th class and my board exams were near. My parents want me to focus on studies rather than gaming. As well as I belong to a rural area, and I have faced many networking issues for which I have to go down 300km to Kolkata and make things go well. But yes, more the struggle more is your success,” he says with confidence.
Convincing Indian Parents
Where gaming or YouTube is still considered a waste of time in many Indian homes, it was quite tough for Pratham to convince his parents for a gaming career.
With irregular incomes and financial challenges at home, he had to always convince his parents and buy more time to prove his gaming abilities.
Effect of Covid-19 Pandemic
Pratham says, “My channel was slowly gaining subscribers. Being a student, I was not able to manage classwork, homework, and video editing. Then in March 2020 due to Covid Pandemic, Lockdown was announced. During this time I got plenty of time to focus on my channel and give a variety of content to my subscribers. Before lockdown, my channel has just 300 subscribers but now the digits are raised to 3.9 Million in just 22 months.
Pratham’s first income from YouTube was approx. 80k which turned out to be a real booster and encouragement for him to do something unique in the gaming arena.
Future Prospects
Pratham Shaw has planned something very big for his subscribers in 2022. Soon he will be starting his new channel where he will live stream and interact with subscribers and fans directly. He also wants to do Face Reveal very soon. By playing games like GTA 5 and Minecraft in the future, he wanted to give his best to his fans.
His advice for aspiring Gamers of India is to never give up in life no matter the situation.
