Statistics show that the global market for mine detecting systems will increase from an anticipated USD 5.2 billion in 2021 to USD 6.9 billion by 2026, at a CAR of 6.2 percentage in terms of value during that time.
It is experiencing significant growth as a result of the rise in asymmetric warfare, that is defined as a conflict in which opposing parties or nations have unequal or imbalanced military resources and weaker adversaries use unconventional weapons and tactics to take advantage of their opponent's weaknesses.

Asymmetric warfare has significantly increased during the past ten years due to socio-cultural, political, religious, and economic upheaval. To cater to all these problems, many young minds are putting in their best efforts to eradicate this issue at the global level. One such genius who has been working towards this goal is Pranav Gondaliya, the Head of Research & Avionics at Aerobotics7.
How did it begin?
Since his school days, Pranav Gondaliya has been drawn to science, technology, artificial intelligence, etc. In 2016 for a project named EAGLE A7, he met young innovator Harshwardhan Zala. Pranav then had the chance to join Aerobotics7 as a member of the founding team. They collaborated on a wide range of projects throughout school days, including drones, robots, virtual reality, and even representation in numerous events. Pranav became even more interested in drone technology due to all the late nights spent working with AI and robotics, thus, he went further to pursue electronics engineering.
Journey in Aerobotics7
Pranav Gondaliya started his journey as a founding member of Aerobotics7, then later held the position of electronics and management intern before rising to the position of head of research and avionics. His journey in Aerobotics7 has been a fun learning experience and he ensured to gain knowledge at every step. In order to achieve its goal of having a world free of landmines, Aerobotics7 has been creating systems around effective integrations, eliminating landmines, and trying to spread awareness, educate people, and envisage a better society. To give his contributions to the same, Pranav Gondaliya has created a number of prototypes and presented them to international businesses and governments.
Milestones and future prospects
Aerobotics7 MVP drone's Alpha version had major contributions from Pranav’s side and he was one of the biggest reasons for its success. He worked on a remote level day and night to make this a success. Due to this, the EAGLE A7 V8 Alpha-MVP is now capable of discovering and identifying on its own both metallic and non-metallic (plastic) landmines that are buried in the ground in real time. A former air force base in Reno, Nevada, USA, served as the site of MVP's testing and demonstration.
Pranav Gondaliya wants to put all of his efforts into identifying issues, advancing technology, and applying it for societal improvement. Till now, under the leadership of Pranav Gondaliya and others, Aerobotics7 has become one of India's fastest-growing drone technology companies. The team is now concentrating on approaching the global market, particularly America. In the end, Pranav wants to bring a revolutionary change and improve the quality of life for everyone.
