Wani has been in the education sector for the past few years and has been working tirelessly and selflessly for the betterment of the students in his home state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Nizamia Education Group which is often credited with being one of the best educational consultancies in India has been a boon to numerous students in assisting them in achieving their academic dreams. Talking about the motivation and the work done by Nizamia Education Group, the Managing Director Shahid Wani says, “Coming from a middle-class family in Jammu and Kashmir, I have witnessed the difficulties and hardships faced by my parents in providing me top-quality education. As I grew up, I realized the same is the case with a majority of the people. Later, in my life, I got to be the MD of the Nizamia Education Group through which I am helping students in fulfilling their academic dreams to the best of my capabilities. Education is one of the most powerful tools that can contribute significantly towards the aim of ‘Naya Kashmir’ (New Kashmir) and this is what Nizamia Education Group believes in.”
Apart from providing scholarships to the students, the foundation also mentors and guides them in the process of their enrollment in leading colleges and universities across India. Not only in Jammu and Kashmir but the group has also assisted about 1,000 students from neighbouring countries like Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. In the coming few years, Nizamia Education Group (NEG) aims to touch the lives of 1,00,000 students and give them the best quality education, probably by the year 2025.
