Three individuals, including the dealership's General Manager, Store Manager and the workshop's assistant found themselves embroiled in the act of audacious forgery. The prime suspect behind this audacious robbery is General Manager Rupesh Eknath Dhamankar. Dhamankar, residing at Room No. 22, Laal Chawl, Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg, opposite Siddhivinayak Hospital in Mumbai's Prabhadevi, is alleged to have stolen spare parts valued at Rs 3.77 lakhs.

Equally involved in this immoral act is the Store Manager Mayur Maruti Sonawane. Responsible for overseeing the dealership's spare parts inventory, Sonawane, residing at Room No. 2/2, B-Wing Triveni Co-operative Housing Society, Sector 20, Nerul, Mumbai, made off with spare parts worth Rs 3.05 lakhs.

The third suspect involved in the act of deception is an assistant working within the workshop, who, too, was entangled in the web of forgery. Together, they had access to the dealership's software, which enabled them to manipulate records and siphon off money.

Whenever a four-wheeler was sent for servicing, the suspects manipulated account records, inflating invoices to cover their tracks. These fraudulent invoices accounted for amounts greater than the actual costs, leading to the disappearance of spare parts worth Rs 10.57 lakhs.

The repercussions were swift and decisive. An FIR was promptly filed against the three culprits, who subsequently found themselves in police custody for nine days. Their alleged crimes led to a month-long prisonment in the Bhandup Police Station.

What is most shocking is that the accused had worked at the dealership for an extended period, abusing their positions and trust. Such incidents are a stark reminder of the lengths some individuals will go to for personal gain. The investigation into this scandal is ongoing, and the fallout will undoubtedly have lasting implications for the individuals involved in this scandalous act.
