Babhangama-born, multitalented soul, Avinash Jha has worked incredibly hard to make a place not only for himself but also for his company, “Yellow Box Casting” in the B-Town. From working for Season 8 of KBC to working with Amitabh Bachchan in a recent commercial, his blood and sweat are now paying off after a period of 6 years.

His company, “Yellow Box Casting” and one of his most recent projects have only recently achieved 6 years of excellence. Under his guidance and his team’s tremendous abilities, it has been successful in doing over 250+ television commercials, a movie recently on-air with MX Player platform called “Love Sorries”, and some adorned web series such as “Ragini MMS Returns” and ALT Balaji’s “Dev DD: Season 2” amongst others.
“I am immensely elated to have worked with Bollywood’s Godfather, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in a recent commercial. Working beside him in the commercial was like a dream come true moment for me that I am going to cherish for life”, shared the founder of Yellow Box Casting company, Avinash Jha.
The resident of Babhangama village located in Supaul district in Bihar, Avinash, came to Mumbai in 2013. Since the day he stepped into the city where dreams could be turned into reality, he had to struggle a lot to find a suitable job. From working as a Spot Boy to working in a Costume Department, Production Line, and even as an actor, he had to do it all in order to unveil his true interest and potential.
He last worked with the famous television reality show series, Kaun Banega Crorepati: Season 8. During this time frame, he got the opportunity to travel to distant places and meet a whole lot of people. Although his job along with the other employees was not about casting, it was almost like it. As they would have to select candidates and get them to Mumbai. This was definitely a life-changing experience for Avinash and made him realize this is what he really wanted to do, there and then.
So, finally, in 2016, he launched his company, Yellow Box Casting. The company has been successfully operating and meeting the versatile casting needs of its clients in a great way. In the near future, the company also plans on bringing up some unique TV commercials with celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan showcasing some of the most reputed Indian brands. And, with some more mainstream OTT web series on the way!
“We have worked hard! Be it as a team or individually, we have taken great pain to make our company run successfully amidst the chaos. Without the support of my team and the support of my parents, we believe we would have not made the impossible possible”, shared Avinash Jha, a proud founder in awe of his team and his family’s strenuous efforts.
Lastly, he added, “This company is hugely close to my heart and I plan to make it bigger and better in the coming years.”
