Vishal Mehta, Delhi based musician and Drummer of India’s biggest Indie pop band “Euphoria”, says that he always wants to play, express and discover his own music & style as a drummer and that’s why he took his journey forward towards learning and continuously honing his craft.

His journey of learning music from Peter Szendofi, a jazz drummer from Budhapest and with Pandit Suresh Talwalkar from Pune for Hindustani Music (Rhythm) started in 2016.

Later in 2017-18, he came up with his first album - Alone, which was a huge hit then 2019-20, the single came out - Guftagu and in 2021-22, the second album came out known as Only You.

Vishal Mehta, started from a small town, Meerut, never ever had a drum kit during his school days, so he only used to practice on his school drum kit. Those were the days of struggle which kept him in the passion of learning an art without any thought what’s going to happen later.

He is now Indias one of the greatest drummers, playing for one of the most reputed band of India (mentioned above) and sessions across.

Last but not the least, he is currently under the supervision of The Dave Weckl, (Lucky to have him as my teacher) where he is currently mastering his art form.
